The 2019/20 Little Athletics Season starts on Saturday 5th October! To find out all you need to know, feel free to have a browse through our website or visit the WA Little Athletics website (found here).

2019/20 Registration

Registrations for new and returning athletes for the 2019/20 Summer Season opened on 7th September 2019. Registrations are strictly online via the Results HQ website so please read and follow the instructions on the WA Little Athletics website (found here).

Saturday 21 September is ‘Come and Try Day’ from 9am – 12pm at Ern Clark Athletics Centre, Wharf Street, Cannington.  This is a great opportunity to bring your child along to have a go at the range of athletic events on offer!

Note there is a slight change to the registration process this year, where all families and users will need to complete a User Migration.  This is a straightforward process that will be prompted when you first log on this season.  This change has been made for enhanced security , as well as one user name for multiple profiles.  More information can be found at:

When registering new athletes, be sure to select Southern Districts LAC as the Centre and Ranford as the club. If you require assistance with registrations feel free to contact our club Registrar or Treasurer whose contact details can be found here

Little Athletics age group determination is based on the year of birth. For more information and to see which age group an athlete will be in, please see the Little Athletics WA information sheet (found here).

The Ranford Reds registration fee for the 2019/20 summer season is $200 per child. 

There will also be a $100 bond required to ensure parents/guardians fulfill their competition day duties as per the duty roster. If you choose to complete the training to become a certified key official, $50 of the bond will be reimbursed once the training has been completed.

Parents/guardians will be asked to sign a Duty Contract (found here) to acknowledge that they understand the requirements of our duty roster. There is also a small processing fee that will be charged as part of the registration payment.

All new athletes will need to provide proof of age (birth certificate/passport).

Training Days

During the summer season, our main training session is at the Ranford Primary School Oval on Wednesday afternoons from 5:00 – 6:15pm.  We also have open training on Mondays 5.00 – 6.15pm if you want to get some extra training in.

 

KidSport

KidSport enables eligible Western Australian children aged 5-18 years to participate in community sport and recreation by offering them financial assistance towards club fees. More information on the KidSport program can be found on the link below as well as the KidSport application form:
